THE TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS. An Association to secure the benefits of organized ideas and discussion of mutual problems that will advance and maintain proper efficiency and dignity of the County Tax Office.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION: The purpose of the organization shall be to promote professional standards, to unify our actions for the benefit of our constituents, to be aware and participate in the legislative process, to provide a vehicle to educate its members in the proper conduct of the constitutional office of the Assessor-Collector of Taxes, and to hold an Annual Conference.

We welcome all Seabees or Veteran's from any branch or time to visit. We planned this site to be a place to keep in touch with old friends. The main purpose of our endeavor is rejoining the Veterans of MCB 133. This site will grow with time and contributions from other veterans of MCB 133. We promise to return any material sent to us for use on this web site. We need your photos and stories about MCB 133. We will accept links to other Seabee and veteran's web sites and photos and stories from any era in the history of MCB 133.

The Smith Family Album is dedicated to Ellis Ulysses Smith; b. 18 Jun 1914 in Logansport, Logan Co. Kansas; d. 04 Feb 1991 in Temple, Bell Co. Texas; bur. 08 Feb 1991 in Marietta, Love Co. Ok. Ellis is the now great great great grandfather of several, and his family still loves him dearly. The Smiths continue to gather together several times a year, providing mutual love and support to all members, new and old alike. Ellis is survived by his wife Edna Leah Reeves, and she remains the epitome of love and kindness which draws the family together as no one else can. Thank you grandpa and grandma for wonderful wonderful memories as a child, and for all the years since.
